Uni-TWS 'five star' energy performer with strength to boot. CSIRO Report. This is the appraisal written by the CSIRO about the Unitex Thermal Wall System.
The CSIRO recently tested Uni-TWS Thermal Wall System by Unitex and the results are impressive. The most striking is its insulation when compared to brick veneer - a massive three times more energy efficient. When using 75 mm Uni-TWS©, a "complete wall" will have an R-Value of approximately 2.17. The total R-Value takes into account the Uni-TWS insulation board, internal plasterboard, air cavity and internal and external air movements.
With new building regulations and requirements for energy ratings coming into force this system is just the ticket. Andrew Concannon, Director Unitex© explains further, "This type of system has been the market leader in the US and Europe for the past thirty years. Our patented corner and edge reveals make Uni-TWS the easiest system in the world for applicators. Apart from the obvious thermal qualities, builders and owners will be more than impressed with its lightweight qualities which is backed-up with 45 J strength also tested by the CSIRO." The Uni-TWS system helps speed up building projects and in turn saves on labour costs.
